Website Downloader Tutorial
Downloading Websites
Have you ever wanted to download websites? Perhaps save them to USB sticks and take them with you to clients or view them while traveling? This website download tutorial will show how to download entire websites in a snap. Future tutorials will go in-depth with specific tasks such as only downloading images and videos from websites. We will use the program A1 Website Download, and as the default configuration works well with almost all websites, we can get started right-away.
Downloading websites
It does not matter if the website you are downloading is database-driven, uses a server side language such as PHP or has query parameters in URLs. The only option you need to configure when downloading is the “Website directory root path“. If you want to download and view multiple websites, you will also need to configure “Save files crawled to disk directory path“. After configuration, you are ready to “Start scan” and download websites.
After website download
The A1 Website Download tool will automatically show you the website content downloaded when it has finished scanning. At this point you can store the downloaded website somewhere else, e.g. on an USB disk or similar, and take the complete website with you. It is now possible to offline browse the web site with your preferred internet browser.

If you have problems with a “dynamic” website, it’s probably a simple configuration issue. Contact support through official means
With regards to password/login, you can see this website login and download article.

Whem I imput the name of the city, for exemple “sao paulo” (without the cotes) and clck on “continua”, the next page will ask for the dates beteween 2 months. For exemple 01012008 and next box 28022008 (portuguese brazilian format dates). Then I choose “FPM” and “OK”. The page changes to a list for the dates I inserted before. My question: how can I put the right information and levels to download with a “index.jsp” to download the complete dates file? Thanks.

I wonder why when I save a website, each file ends up with .html even though they already have an .htm on it.
For instance I have a webpage “hello-everyone.htm”, but by downloading it through the program it ends up with “hello-everyone.htm.html”. Is there a way to solve it?.

Does this utility allow for MANUAL downloading of websites?
I am looking for something that I can download the main page, save, then append further pages as I click the links, not ALL of them blindly (I couldn’t care less about the 90% of commercial “sponsored” links that seem to clutter every web page nowadays)
Hope you can give some insights about this.
Thank You!

How do I get this engine to crawl sub pages from a root page? I dont want to just download the specified root page, but sub pages, say to a particular depth (7 etc). Just downloading a single page on its own is of very limited use.
Thanks,
Will
